BARBARA ANN WEIL

Barbara Ann Weil, 78, of Uniontown, Ohio, left this life on December 12, 2018 to be with her husband once again. Mom was born April 9, 1940 in Ogden, West Virginia, the daughter of Harry Francis and Mamie Ruth (Gregrory) Stephens.

Mom graduated from Norton High School in 1957. While in high school, Mom was featured on the cover of McCalls magazine. She modeled to earn money for school clothes. After marrying Dad in 1958, Mom and Dad purchased a home in Uniontown in 1962. Mom and Dad remained at that home the rest of their lives. In 1979, Mom, along with her sister Delores, founded the Uniontown Antique Mall. Mom continued to be the owner of the business until October 2018 when illness caused her to turn over operations to others.

Mom was preceded in traveling to heaven by her husband, Gerald Weil, Sr. in 2007. Also preceding her were her parents, Harry and Mamie Stephens, father and mother-in-law, Arnold and Josephine Weil, three sisters: Hollie Sams, Delores Morris, and Jane Gibson; and one brother, Vincent Reed. Mom is survived by her son, Gerald Weil, Jr., his wife Joanie, her grandson Brent Weil, one brother, Harry Stephens, and brothers-in-law Dayton Morris and Arnold Weil, Jr. Mom is also survived by cousins, nephews, and friends who she thought a lot of.

Mom's request for cremation has been honored as well as her request that no services be held. A private placement of Mom and Dad's remains will occur at a later date. Mom wanted to say she appreciated everyone who visited her and kept her in their thoughts.

Mom also wanted to thank Ashley Royer, Raven Patterson, and Jennifer Brock of Clear Path Health and Hospice for their care.

We love you and will miss you, Mom, but we are happy you are with Dad now.

The family has entrusted Barbara’s care with Hecker-Patron Funeral Home, Uniontown, Ohio.
