Betty Jo Lamp
Betty Jo Lamp, 84, went home to be with the Lord on May 14, 2017. Born in Given, WV. on July 29, 1932 to Roy and Mary French Skeen, she was an area resident most of her life. Betty, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, worked as an LPN at St. Luke's Lutheran Home, Hartville Meadows, and private home health care before her retiring. She was a former member of Community of Christ Church before joining Faith's Foundation Church.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband James, 2 sisters and 1 brother, she is survived by her children; Debra Miller, Mark Lamp, Linda (Joe) Bennett, Cheryl (Doug) Gammon, Lynette (Dave) Arthur, Tamara Lamp and James "Steve" Lamp; sisters Kathleen Sabo, Nima Proiette and Norma Bradley, 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson and many other cherished relatives and friends.
Visitation Saturday 9 to 10 a.m. at the Hecker Funeral Home in Uniontown, where funeral services will immediately follow at 10 a.m., with Pastor Kevin Baker officiating. Burial at Beechwood Cemetery. Hecker 330 699-2600.
