FRANK GERARD

 On September 5, 2024, Frank Gerard, devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away at his home in Mogadore. He was born September 15, 1940 to his late parents, Frank and Cora (Bishoff) Gerard. Frank has joined his wife and love of his life, Gwendolyn who preceded him in death in 2017 and his best friend, whom he saw like a brother, JR Cope.

 Very much a family man, Frank drew inner strength from his family and always ensured each of them of their importance in his life. He was a huge all-around sports fan, but his passion, his love, was golf. He also enjoyed camping and coaching football and baseball, which he did for many years. He was a longtime member of Cottage Grove Church.

 Frank leaves an indelible mark on the hearts of those who survive: daughter, Brenda (Brad) Rossano of Mogadore; son, Jeff (Ruth) Gerard of Alliance; grandchildren, Aubrey Rossano (James Kelly), Tiona Rossano, Joshua and Matthew Gerard; sister, Rosemary (Gary) Miller; brother, Joe Gerard; many nieces and nephews; his lovable grand dogs, Bailey and Jester; and the many lives he touched and enriched while coaching.

 All are welcome for visitation on Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, Hecker-Patron Funeral Home, 13151 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Uniontown, where the service for Frank will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Mt. Peace Cemetery, Hartville.

 The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Crossroads Hospice, Kelly Shoemaker, and Brook Boatman for their care given to Frank.

 For years, Frank’s generous heart, led by compassion for children fighting cancer, has supported St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
