Gary I. Wilson

Gary I. Wilson of Uniontown, Ohio, passed away February 13, 2025, at the age of 73. He was born in Akron, Ohio on February 28, 1951, to his late parents, William and Dorothea (Seesdorf) Wilson. Also, preceding Gary in death was his sister, Pamela Wilson.

 He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Uniontown and retired from American Business Machines after many years of dedicated service. He enjoyed hunting, outdoors, and spending as much time as he could at his cabin in West Virginia, where he was also one of the best storytellers. He was also an expert marksman in skeet shooting with his blue “Smurf” shotgun. 

Gary is survived by many cousins, including a few close cousins and friends who helped him in his last days, and his faithful, furry companion, Persis.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, at Hecker-Patron Funeral Home, 13151 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Uniontown, Ohio, where the service will follow at 12:00 pm. Cousin Brian Wilson and Friend Kenny Younkins will be officiating. Interment will take place at Uniontown Greenlawn Cemetery.

Contributions in memory of Gary may be made to Green Fire Department.
