Gwendolyn Gerard, 74, passed away April 10, 2017. Born in Akron on May 16, 1942 to Marvin and Dorothy (Bischoff) Tolson, she was an area resident all of her life. Gwendolyn, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, was a member of Cottage Grove Church.

Preceded in death by her parents and 4 siblings, she is survived by her loving family; husband of 56 years, Frank; children, Frank "Jeff" (Ruth E) Gerard and Brenda (Brad) Rossano; grandchildren, Joshua and Matthew Gerard, Aubrey and Tiona Rossano; brother, Donald (Beverly) Tolson; close friends, Junior and Charlene Cope, Bernie and Shirley Tournoux; and many other cherished relatives and friends.

Visitation Friday 10 to 11 a.m. at the Hecker Funeral Home in Uniontown, where funeral services will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Craig Cope and Pastor Bill White officiating. Burial at Mt.
