HANS J. SCHROEDER

Hans J. Schroeder, 82, of Uniontown, Ohio, passed away, April 3, 2019. Born May 2, 1936 in Cassell, Germany, he was the son of the late Hans B. and Friedel (Diennemann) Schroeder.

Hans’ memory will forever be cherished by those who survive; his wife of 60 years, Wilsie Schroeder of Uniontown, Ohio; daughters, Barbara (Lou) Springer of Parker, Colorado, Renata (Randy) West of Uniontown, Ohio; grandchildren, Michelle, Erin, and Tyler; and very special friends, Dan and Laura Tennant.

A graduated of Clifton High School in New Jersey, he enjoyed boats, RVs, jet skis, and motorcycles. Hans had a true zest for life, putting his whole heart and soul into living his life to the fullest and making a difference each and every day. An upbeat person, he believed there was always something good in everything. He served in the United States Air Force, leading him to his first and foremost passion, airplanes. He enjoyed the excitement that mingled with the perfect peace of soaring through the beautiful blue sky.

Hans’ family will receive guests, Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 1:00 pm, until the time of the Memorial Service, beginning at 3:00 pm, Trinity Church of the Nazarene, 2780 Canton Road, Uniontown, Ohio.  Dr. Wayne Evans, Pastor will officiate. Interment will take place privately, at the convenience of Hans’ family.

The family has entrusted Hans’ care with Hecker-Patron Funeral Home, Uniontown, Ohio.
