She now joins her parents; first husband, William Magrell; daughter, Pamela Lynn Magrell Morgan; second husband, John Austin; sister, Carol Colly; and brothers, Charles and Paul Jackson, who preceded her in death.

Continuing to honor her legacy are those who survive; daughter, Deborah (Ronald) Hanes of North Canton; grandchildren, William Morgan, James Morgan, and Daniel (Angela) Hanes; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Abigail, Rebecca, Sydney, and Rhys.

At the age of twelve, Helen heard God’s joyous calling and dedicated her life to Him and ever since, has been faithful to her Lord and Savior. She was a member of the Akron Baptist Temple for many years, taught Sunday school for over 30 years, was an advocate for young girls’ lives through the church, and most importantly served wherever she was called to serve.

Helen was a very loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She never met a stranger and faith, kindness, and peace permeated her. She truly exemplified Proverbs 31:28.
