Iris M. Anderson Iris Marcette Anderson, 94, died Friday, June 2, 2017, at her home surrounded by family. Iris was born in Greentown, Oh. on October 17, 1922 to John and Mary Arlene Kurtz. She remained in Greentown for the first 90 years of her life, before moving to Carmel, Ind., where she lived until her passing. She was a lifelong member of Greentown United Methodist Church. Iris was preceded in death by her husband Dale Anderson in 1990 and by her son Gary L. Anderson in 2017. She is survived by her loving family; children, Glyn Anderson of Fairfield, OH; Dennis (Carol) Anderson of Ft. Morgan, CO; Alan (Kathy) Anderson, Bridgeport, WV; Linda (Bill) Salmon, Carmel, IN; 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Visitation Saturday 11 to 1 p.m. at the Hecker Funeral Home in Uniontown, where a celebration of her life will immediately follow at 1 p.m. Burial at Greentown Cemetery.
