JOHN C. MISHLER
John C. Mishler, 71, passed away January 8th after a lengthy illness. Born in Willard, Ohio, February 15, 1949, he was the son of the late John Mishler, Jr. and Thelma Mosbaugher Mishler.
Also preceding John in death was his brother, Richard Riggs.
John’s memory will be a timeless treasure in the hearts of those who survive; his loving wife of 26 years, Mary Mishler of Uniontown; daughters, Lucinda (Adam) Stiles of Tennessee, Adriana Mishler of Canton; son, John (Wilda) Mishler of Cleveland; grandchildren, Stephen, Paige, James, Jaiden, Ashlen, and Braylon; sisters, Joan Burton of Massillon, Sue (George) Hehn of Wadsworth; and brother, Timothy (Dee) Mishler of North Canton.
He was a Naval veteran, proudly serving his country, as a jet air mechanic for four years. He loved motorcycle riding, camping, fishing, and flying radio control planes. He was a graduate of Lake High School, where he excelled in football and track. He kept in touch with many of his classmates through the years. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, who loved life, fighting his illness with determination, until his journey’s end.
A Memorial Service for John will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 1, 2021, Hecker-Patron Funeral Home, 13151 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Uniontown. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of John’s family.
In keeping with the mandates by the state of Ohio, masks and facial coverings are to be worn and social distancing guidelines are to be observed. We thank you for your cooperation.
