KIMBERLY ANN MURPHY

Kimberly Ann “Kim” Murphy passed away quietly the morning of November 26, 2023, on her journey home. She was born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio on March 6, 1961, the oldest daughter of the late Buddy and Alene (Booth) Murphy.

She attended schools in Akron, Uniontown, and Alliance before graduating from Lake High School in 1980. She attended Southern Ohio College, Kent State University and graduated from Stark Technical College in 1992, earning a degree in Health Information Technology (Medical Records).

A devoted Christian, Kim always took the time to help where and when needed. She shared her time and talents and enjoyed bringing joy to others. She was kind and generous.

Kim will be missed by those who survive; her sister, Connie (Tim) Burley of Louisville; her dear niece, Jordan (Michael) Nicholas; great nephew, Gabriel Nichols; her special friend, Ashley; and her special cat, Little Bit. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Wanda Booth.

Family and friends are welcome for visitation, Friday, December 1, 2023, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Hecker-Patron Funeral Home, 13151 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Uniontown. Kim’s service will immediately follow at 1:00 pm. Interment will take place at Uniontown Greenlawn Cemetery.
