Mary Alice Resch

With her family by her side, Mary Alice Resch passed away peacefully at the age of 93, on November 8, 2024. She was born in Akron, Ohio on February 8, 1931, to the late Charles and Martha (Fitzpatrick) Wery.

Mary Alice was a 1950 graduate of Greensburg High School and attended Lakeview Christian Church, where she loved to sing in the choir. She was the heart and light of her family, always quick to offer gentle encouragement, a warm embrace, and unwavering support. She taught her family love and kindness by showing them how to find beauty in the simplest of life’s moments.

She is survived by her four Children; David (Carol), Deanne Christman (Brad), Dan, and Donald Resch (Lacey); three granddaughters and their husbands whom she welcomed into her heart as her own: Yvonne (Sean), Susan (Chas), Paula (Matt) and five and a half great-grandchildren who always put a smile on her face. Summer, Autumn, Roman, Stone, Myles and one more on the way who will sadly only know her through stories and the love she left behind.
