Rebecca "Becky" Lyn Collier

REBECCA “BECKY” LYN COLLIER, 69, of Green, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Akron, Ohio, she was the loving daughter of the late Richard and Delores (nee Brooks) Shultz.

Cherishing Becky’s memory are those she leaves behind: beloved husband, David; son, George (Roberta) McClees III; daughters, Kelly Collier, Kristy (Joseph) Valaitis, and Karey Berger. Becky especially adored all her grandchildren, Kristen (Joshua) DiBenedetto, Danielle (Brian) Feist, Rachael Berger, Jarrett Michael Collier, Corinne Valaitis, Andrea Valaitis, Chloe McClees, Lexi Huston, and great-grandchildren Nolan and Lola.

Becky will also be deeply missed by her sisters, Cathy Hoaglin and Brenda (Kevin) Simmers, nieces and nephews, and dearest friends who became her extended family.

A graduate of The University of Akron, Becky enjoyed her entire career at First Energy in Akron, Ohio, retiring as an Executive Administrator for Legal Affairs. She shared her faith and love of family, golf, travel, and cruising with wonderful friends at Prestwick, Stratford Green, The Chapel at Green, and more throughout the world met during numerous vacations.
