REBECCA ANN FILHOUR

Rebecca Ann Filhour, 71, of Canton, Ohio passed away December 11, 2021. She was born to the late Harold and Nellie (Wilson) Filhour on November 24, 1950, in Canton, Ohio. Together with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Roy.

A skilled health professional, Rebecca worked as a clinical pathologist in the microbiology department at Aultman Hospital for over 40 years. She enjoyed hunting. She had a sunny and cheery disposition and enjoyed laughter and most certainly, brighten anyone’s day. Later in her life, her faith became first and foremost. She was a member of Lakeview United Methodist Church, enjoying worship and any time spent with her church family.

She enjoyed being part of a small and loving family and they meant the world to her. She is survived by numerous cousins and friends.

In keeping with Rebecca’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will take place on ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Tuesday, December 28, 2021, 1:00 pm, at Lakeview United Methodist Church, 211 3rd Street, NW, Barberton, Ohio 44203.  Reverend Tina Nees will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Lakeview United Methodist Church, their Emergency Food Pantry, or the Common Threads (a clothing ministry).
