Rose Marie Kovacs
(Martin)
Rose left us September 4, 2017 at the age of 93. She was a strong willed woman with a zest for life. She took great pride in her Hungarian heritage and did not hesitate to tell anyone. The Hungarian-American Club was her second home and the member-friends were her second family. Only attending her church homes, The Chapel in Akron and The Chapel in Green came first. She faithfully attended until her health no longer allowed.
Preceded in death by her father and mother Zolton and Rose Martin, husband Paul, brother Zolton, Jr., and nephew Stephen Martin.
Survived by son Paul, daughter Betty (Earl) Seabeck, grandchildren, great grand children, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and especially niece Dina Tierney.
To the entire staff at Mulberry Gardens who took care of Rose for the past year, words cannot express our gratitude. You treated her like family, not a client.
Burial has taken place and a memorial service will be announced at a later date. Please remember Rose by considering a gift to Camp Carl c/o The Chapel, or the Hungarian-American Club.
