Violet Kunkel
August 14, 1931 — December 21, 2017
Violet N. Kunkel, 86, went home to be with her Lord on December 21, 2017. Born in Letcher County, KY. on August 14, 1931 to James and Bergie (Boggs) Caudill, she was an area resident most of her life. Violet a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, was a member of the Akron Baptist Temple.
Preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Paul, and brothers Leonard and Billy Caudill; she is survived by her loving family; son, Paul Kunkel Jr. and his wife Mary; daughter, Tammie Weese; grandchildren, Shannon (Tony) Massengale, Sarah Kunkel, Cassandra Kunkel and Zachary Weese; great granddaughter, Ryli Massengale; brother Winfrey Caudill; sisters Ann Childs and Shirley (Gerald) Neal, and many other cherished relatives and friends.
Visitation Tuesday 11 to 12 noon at the Akron Baptist Temple, where funeral services will immediately follow at 12 noon with Pastor Larry Knight officiating.
