Vandersall, Virginia
It is with great sadness, the family of Virginia Vandersall, announces her passing on August 14, 2018 at age 78. Born September 16, 1939 and raised in Canal Fulton, OH, she was a graduate of Northwest High School and earned a degree from Kent State University. She was employed at Bridgestone/Firestone, where she met her husband, Don. Virginia had a passion for music and devoted her life to the church organ, choirs, and teaching piano students for more than 20 years.
Virginia will be lovingly remembered by her husband Don, of 50 years and her children, Brian (Eileen) Vandersall, Amy Schultz, and Carey Holy. She is also survived by her five grandchildren (Wynter, Kyle, Carter, Addison, Hunter); her sister, Genelea Chapman; and brother, Roger Fox. Virginia was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Fox, and brother, Thomas Fox.
Calling hours will be held Friday August 24th at 10:00am at Uniontown United Methodist Church, 13370 Cleveland Ave NW, Uniontown, OH, followed by a memorial service at 11:30am. A luncheon will be served afterward to those who wish to attend.
