WILLABURT “BILLIE” WHYTSELL

Surrounded by her loving family, WillaBurt “Billie” Whytsell, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord, May 20, 2022 at the age of 77.

She was born to Lawrence and Virginia (Buchanan) Stump in Mt. Vernon, Ohio on June 23, 1944. A 1963 Springfield High School graduate, she worked in the grocery industry for many years and together with her husband, Jerry, they had four children. Billie loved her family and grandchildren greatly. She prayed for them daily. A member of Temple Baptist church, she led a faithful life and cared for the spiritual needs of others.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents; son, Terry Whytsell; daughter, Cheryl Whytsell. She is survived by her loving family; husband, Jerry Whytsell; son, Tim (Sandra) Whytsell of Uniontown; daughter, Christine (Seth) Davis of Tampa, Florida; grandchildren, James, Faith, and Mark Whytsell and McKenzie and Kennedy Davis; sister, JetKay Head of Cuyahoga Falls; brother, Gene Stump of Cleveland; and her church family and friends.

Visitation for Billie will be Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., followed by the service at 7:00 p.m., Temple Baptist Church, 1212 Greensburg Road, Uniontown. Pastor Glenn Rogers, Jr. officiating. Interment will take place at Hillside Memorial Park, Akron.
